As 12 Days of Christmas continues, we land on an inevitable Hallmark movie. Rachel joins us to talk about Sugarplummed.

Our annual 12 Days of Christmas series returns! Will McKinley joins us to kick things off with The Thin Man. Much of this 1934 classic is set during Christmastime, and we're treated to William Powell and Myrna Loy as Nick and Nora Charles. We follow along as they become embroiled in the case of a missing person. Or is it murder?

Rohan Campbell stars as Billy Chapman, in this remake/re-imagining of the 1984 cult classic, where a man dressed as Santa Claus goes on a rampage. Ashley & Matt review the new Silent Night, Deadly Night. 

Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde are on the case when a snake threatens to steal a book valuable to the history of Zootopia. There's more than meets the eye, however, and much adventure ensues. 

Benoit Blanc is on the case again as he's called to solve a murder at a church in a seemingly-quaint New England hamlet. Josh O'Connor is the local priest, and there are a host of suspects to choose from. Aaron joins us to discuss Wake Up Dead Man. 

The magicians are back! The third installment in the Now You See Me franchise is in theaters, and Matt & Ashley review it in this episode.

Eternity is an original movie with interesting ideas about the afterlife and love. And yet... we weren't completely sold on it. Ashley & Matt have an involved discussion about the new film in this episode.

We review Blue Moon, the new, Oscar bait (?) film centering around Lorenz Hart, set during the opening night of Oklahoma!

Michael Myers is back, and he's looking for Laurie Strode. Halloween H20 features one of the several Michael vs. Laurie showdowns we've had over the years. As he has for the past several years, Grant joins us on Halloween to talk about one of the Halloween movies. This time, it's the seventh film in the franchise.

As Pride Month draws to a close, we wanted to devote a Criterion episode to a Gregg Araki film, as he's associated with the New Queer Cinema movement. We chose 1997's Nowhere, a fun, bizarre, subversive disaffected youth movie that just screams 1990s.

Our celebration of LGBTQ Pride Month continues as Larry joins us to review the new(ish) movie, A Nice Indian Boy.

Ryan joins us for today's 12 Days of Christmas episode! It's set in a working class town in 1983, and the centerpiece is a family preparing their annual Christmas Eve dinner, known as the titular Feast of the Seven Fishes.

Aaron joins us again to talk about another holiday film. This one is set in December, as a motley crew of actors with barely two shillings to rub together attempt to put on a Christmas production of Hamlet. Fitzwilly is a 1967 film starring Dick Van Dyke and Barbara Feldon. It's about a scheming butler whose motives are akin to Robin Hood, and the movie is set during the Christmas-to-New Years period, so we figured, why not? Will McKinley joins us to talk about this oft-overlooked film. 

Jack and Caroline are a married couple living in Chicago. For Christmas, they travel to Caroline's hometown in Ireland, and it's a bit of an adjustment for Jack.
