Gear up! It's action time! On this episode of Remakes and Reboots Ben Lewandowski and I sort out the differences and similarities of the Sylvester Stallone film JUDGE DREDD directed by Danny Cannon in 1995 and the Karl Urban led remake in 2012 directed by Pete Travis. Judge Dredd is a long running comic book character who brings justice to a futuristic dystopian world filled with violent criminals. Turn on the shower. Disrobe. Cue the music! Tonight, Ben Lewandowski and I consider the merits of the classic 1960 thriller PSYCHO, directed by the master of suspense Alfred Hitchcock. As well as the very curious remake in 1998 directed by Gus Van Zant.  This is an interesting one folks, since no other filmmaker has ever intentionally set out to copy a film to this degree. Ben and I had a great time discussing these films and we hope you will have just as good a time listening to our ramblings. Let's go!

Actor, writer and award-winning audiobook narrator SCOTT BRICK is my guest today and being the avid audiobook fanatic that I am, I enjoyed our far-ranging conversation immensely.  Scott is the narrator on over 1,100 popular books and counting over the span of his 25 year career.

In 1980 Director John Carpenter released one of the finest ghost stories in cinema. 25 years later the film was remade, following the same blueprint for the most part while introducing new elements. Ben Lewandowski and I attempt to examine both films and offer our insights. Was the newer version up to snuff? Is the original a true classic? A must listen for Carpenter fans. Lots of discussion. On this episode the Cinema Saviors once again are tasked with helping the shadowy government organization known as the Movie Vault Project (MVP) choose 50% of all films made to lock away in the Doomsday Vault located under the mountains of Colorado. The Willis-Affleck asteroid is on it's way folks and not every film can survive. We are given 20 films and must choose 10 to send to the vault for safety, and 10 that will not survive for future generations. It's a tough job but someone has to do it! So let's do it!
