Convicted of murder, their client was initially sentenced to 37 years in prison before Julie signed on and filed a Motion for New Trial. State, 335 S.W.3d 784 (Tex. App. 2011), that fantastic deal is being used to turn an otherwise misdemeanor case to a 25-to-life habitual felony.
