The first weekend after the winter meetings have given us more action in the market. Mets are signing Jorge Polanco, the Blue Jays are making adds to their bullpen including Tyler Rogers who's arm angle pairs nicely with Yesavage. Among other additions via free agency and trades in today's episode. 

Thank you winter meetings. They have come and gone but boy did it bring a lot of action. The stove was hot all week long and we have plenty of moves to go over. From trades to free agent signings and all that good stuff in between. We had some heavy hitters sign as well as the top back of the bullpen arms too. 

Oh boy, finally a big week of moves during the offseason. Devin Williams, Cedric Mullins, Alek Manoah all have new homes. Cody Ponce and Anthony Kay are coming back after some seasons away in Japan and Korea. And we have more news and rumors as we line up for the Winter Meetings next week

Welp, this is certainly an episode. As the stove stays cool, we had only one signing this past weekend. Ryan Helsley. Outside of that? Nothing. So to add some flare to the episode we've got some fun questions and games but going forward I will take a step back to wait for the stove to get hot. 

The stove is finally on in the free agent market as one of the big fishes come off the board. Dylan Cease joins the defending AL Champs in the Toronto Blue Jays, and that's not the only pitcher that joined the AL East as the Red Sox went for a trade with the Cardinals to get Sonny Gray. These discussions plus the finally free agency needs in the NL West for today's episode.

A MASSIVE trade happened over the weekend. As we try to spice up the offseason, the Mets and Rangers make a big swing as Marcus Semien is now a member of the Mets, and Brandon Nimmo is now a member of the Rangers. WOW. We also have a few other things to discuss as well as our 5th of 6th Free Agency Needs with the NL Central today. 

Big things happened this week, we had the qualifying offers get accepted or declined, we had 2 trades, one of which that seems very big. We had another signing plus much much more for today's wild episode

As the offseason continues we finally have our first big signing or should I say resigning as Josh Naylor is staying with the Seattle Mariners on a 5 year deal. We also discuss this years Hall Of Fame Ballot as well as continue with the free agency needs for teams and todays division is the AL West

Award season is upon us, as in today's episode we go over all the BBWAA Award winners and how the voting shaped up as well as other important awards as well as the All MLB 1st and 2nd teams. We also continue down the path of the needs of teams in free agency and its all about the AL Central today

Not much as happened yet in terms of free agency but still a big episode with more info and updates regarding Emmanuel Clase and Luis Ortiz and the situation going on there. I also start giving my thoughts and predictions on what teams should be doing this offseason starting today with the teams from the AL East

The offseason is here, and in this first episode we've got a lot of house keeping to go over. Starting with all the Player and Team Options that were decided on, some surprising and some not so much. We also look at a handful of the Top Free Agents and which of them received a qualifying offer. This and a whole lot more in today's episode

Dodgers are back to back World Series Champions and with that, the 2025 season has come to an end. What a year it has been filed with plenty of magical moments, heartbreak and memories. As we gear up for another offseason, we have plenty of time to relax before the 2026 season and the World Baseball Classic

We've made it to the end of the 2025 season. No matter what happens, the next episode we will have the winner of the 2025 World Series as well as no more baseball until 2026. Although that's bitter sweet, we had 3 (Actually 4) amazing games in LA and now head back to Toronto with the Blue Jays one win away from a 3rd franchise title. Will they finish off the Dodgers, or will LA win 2 on the road to steal it away from them

The World Series is underway. Blue Jays got to Snell and that awful looking Dodgers bullpen in a historic game 1 win, but the Dodgers on the back of Yamamoto gets an series evening game 2 victory after back to back complete games from Yamamoto. So we definitely have a great series on our hands as it flips from Canada to USA as we head to Dodger Stadium for the next 3 games which could also be the last 3 games of 2025

We started at 30 teams way back at the start of the season. Now we just have 4-7 games left and 2 teams still with a chance to win it all. Will the Los Angeles Dodgers be the juggernaut that they are and become the first team to win B2B World Series since 1999-2000, or will the Toronto Blue Jays led by Vlad's historic postseason, take them down with history on their side and a offense that's so locked in. Only time will tell and it all starts tonight

 Dodgers take care of business as they finish off the NLCS sweep of the Brewers who couldn't do anything with the sticks as Ohtani has the game of ever. One of the greatest single player performances in MLB History. Meanwhile the Mariners took game 5 and got the advantage of the extra day to clinch, but the Blue Jays were able to bounce back so we get the 2 best words in sports. Game 7 

The ALCS and NLCS are underway, and the road teams are dominating winning 6 of 7 games thus far. The Dodgers have owned the Brewers and have taken all 3 games so far. Meaning if the Brewers want a world series trip, they need to win 4 straight. Meanwhile after Mariners took the first 2 games in Toronto, the Blues Jays have comeback to even up the series with 2 games in Seattle. A big important game 5 between them happens tonight.

With the final 2 games of the division series finished, we have our final 4 teams that still have a chance to win the world series. Blue Jays, Brewers, Mariners and Dodgers. But before any of them get a chance to fight for it, they have to go through one another in the championship series first. 4 teams, 2 best of 7 series and only 2 tickets to the world series

As the Divisional Series wrap up, we've seen 2 teams get eliminated in the Yankees and Phillies, meaning we've seen 2 teams move on to the Championship Series in the Blue Jays and Dodgers. That being said we've got 2 do or die winner take all game 5s on our hands. First the Mariners and Tigers and then Brewers and Cubs. These 2 games are going to be good. 6 current teams are in the hunt but after Saturday, that number will go down to 4. 

The ALDS and NLDS series are underway and what we've seen so far through 6 games has been crazy. The Dodgers are always going to be a threat even at the Bank in Philly. Brewers might be to much for the Cubs, Mariners and Tigers both fighting their own demons, and the Blue Jays have been wiping the floors of the Rogers Centre with Yankees as their offence puts up 23 runs in 2 games, and Trey Yesavage has a historic pitching start for him and the team.   

12 teams down to 8 already. The Padres, Red Sox, Guardians and Reds have all been eliminated by the Yankees, Cubs, Dodgers and Tigers and are heading to the ALDS and NLDS to take on the Blue Jays, Mariners, Phillies and Brewers. Playoff baseball keeps on rolling

We've done it, 162 games in the books as the regular season finished up this weekend and now, its on to the 2025 Postseason. 12 teams enter and only 1 can win it all. 4 teams will be eliminated as early as the end of this week as the Wildcard series is set to start us up. Can the Reds upset the Dodgers, do the Guardians put the nail in the Tigers or will they get the last laugh and how about baseballs most recognizable rivalry. Get ready for it all. 

159 games down, 3 to go. One last series and still so much is at stake for the postseason. Mariners and Dodgers both clinched their divisions, and 3 more teams punched their tickets. So for this final weekend, its Jays vs Yankees for the AL East title, Tigers vs Guardians for the AL Central title, and 7 teams fighting for the final 4 spots in the postseason. 3 spots in the AL for Tigers, Guardians, Red Sox and Astros, and 1 last spot in the NL being fought for by the Mets, Reds and Diamondbacks. Only time can give us the results

1 last week of the MLB Season before the postseason, and we still have 7 spots up for grabs for the dance, alongside as all 12 seeding options still available and no one officially locked in to their spot. Mariners handle the Astros and sweep them for a great chance to win the AL West, meanwhile the Guardians won 10 straight victories while the Tigers have lost 6 straight now. The gap in the AL Central is 1 and these two teams play each other in what should be a great penultimate series before the last weekend

9 games, 3 series, 9 spots still up for grabs in the 2025 postseason. A lot to play for still including the Astros and Mariners in a 3 game series that could decide the AL West. In other news that's bigger than baseball itself, Clayton Kershaw announced he will retire after the 2025 season making tonight the last time Kershaw will start a regular season home game at Dodger Stadium. 

Oh boy, as we continue through the month of September, we finally have our first teams punching their tickets to the postseason in the Brewers and Phillies. Meanwhile a Mariners team has ridden a 9 game winning streak into 1st in the AL West, while a slumping Mets team finally ends a 8 game losing streak but is it too late for them?

After a big week of baseball, the Phillies have swept the big 4 game sweep vs the Mets to put their dreams of a NL East champion a reality meanwhile the Mets postseason chances could be on life support. Over on the AL side, the Mariners have won 6 straight to put them tied with the Astros while the Rangers are still lurking close behind

Massive episode today as we go over the August players of the month, as well as taking a look at the Phillies Karan and the Dodgers going from 1 out from a no-hitter, to getting walked off. Division and wildcard races are also heating up with less than 3 weeks to go

We had a really intense week on all accounts, we had pitchers mad, teams upset, managers wanting to strangle the umps. Well maybe not that intense but things are definitely hearing up already in the last month of the season across the league

5 Months down, 1 to go. Welcome to September baseball. All to play for in such little time, which teams and players will catch on fire and lead them to the promise land or on the other hand which teams will slump while players turn cold taking their great years and spoiling them in the end. 

First it was Suarez, then it was Kurtz and now Schwarber. From only 18 players that have had 4 home run games in MLB History, we've had 3 this year. Wild. Meanwhile the Big Dumper gets to 50 and his chase continues. 

In today's episode we talk about the Orioles paying up for their young 20 year old catcher Samuel Basallo, taking a look at how I would restructure MLB with expansion and division realignment, as well as Cal passing Salvy for the most home runs in a single season by a catcher and more. 

Kyle Tucker has continued to struggle since the All-Star break so Craig Counsell said he would be on the bench for a little while, turns out he's had a hairline fracture in his hand and had been playing though it. Interesting. Meanwhile Brewers became the first to 80 wins on the year and the Astros without Hader for a bit make a move and bring in Kimbrel for the bullpen. All this and more on what is a faster episode than usual. 

The Brewers end their win streak at 14, but is still a new franchise best. Padres enjoyed being first in the NL West for 1 day before getting manhandled by teg Dodgers and with the Brewers and Cubs about to tee of for a 5 game set, this feels like the last chance for the Cubs to have any hope for the NL Central Division and the 1st seed in the NL

What a week in baseball. The Brewers are now winners of 12 straight games and have a 10+ game win streak for the second time this season. The Mets slump continues losers of 13 of their last 15 games, and with the help of the Angels sweeping the Dodgers, the Padres were able to sweep their way past the Giants and into 1st in the NL West. This weekend is the real challenge however as Padres and Dodgers face off. 

On today's episode I took a dive down the rabbit hole of a dying era of pitchers, looking at guys like Scherzer, Kershaw and Verlander and how we may never see a big 3 like them again, meanwhile Jen Pawol made her history becoming the first female umpire in a MLB game. 

On today's episode we talk about the July players of the month, Red Sox rookie Roman Anthony gets a healthy extension not even 50 games into his big league career, the Blue Jays put on a display of offense in Coors vs the Rockies making history in the process and so much more to discuss today. 

The Yankees keep making mistakes in their games and its been costing them big time. Our first series post trade deadline provided some crazy action with even crazier results. As teams start to narrow down their players, the postseason race is on. 

What an incredibly chaotic and hectic trade deadline with so many wild moves that no one saw coming. Mason Miller, you are a Padre. Eugenio Suarez, you are a Mariner... again, Cedric Mullins, you are a Met, Carlos Correa, you are an Astro... again. And that's only the tip of the iceberg. Plenty or trades and moves to talk about as we gear up for the dog days of summer. 

Wow wow wow Nick Kurtz game of his career. A 6 for 6 4HR game took the weekend news storm, but that doesn't mean it was the only thing that happened. More trades, new Hall Of Famers inducted, new addition to the betting allegations??? We've got a huge episode to wrap up the month of July. 

Our first couple of trades have happened as the D-Backs send Josh Naylor to the Mariners, the Orioles send Gregory Soto to the Mets, and a live reaction of Ryan McMahon going from the Rockies to the Yankees. How many more trades will happen before the deadline on July 31.

Big series coming up as the trade deadline gets closer and closer. Brewers have won 10 straight games which now has them tied with the Cubs for first in the NL Central. It helps when you sweep the Dodgers twice who continue to struggle which has allowed the Padres to get 4.5 closer to the Dodgers since the start of the month. Tigers became the first team to 60 wins this year. 

Wow, who knew you could miss so much baseball in just a small 2 weeks. But vacation is done and I am back ready to go for the second half of the season. I picked some of the biggest news points over the last 2 weeks to go over in this mega weird but fun episode to recap all the things that were missed including this weeks All-Star festivities from the draft to the derby and game itself. Buckle up for a long special episode. 

The month of June as come to an end which means we are over half way done this season. And while I may be taking a small break some teams really need to kick into gear heading into July. A very important month with the all-star and trade deadline looming. Can the Mets shake this form our is this just the start of the collapse. Plus is a 7 game win streak enough for the Marlins to get relevant this year, all this and more in today's episode 

As we finish up the month of June, the first phase of the always controversial fan voting is complete. Meanwhile more negative fan behavior keeps popping up this year, this time effecting Ketel Marte on the field. 

Paul Skenes might have a match in the Brewers newest arm Jacob Misiorowski, and if you aren't convinced just wait till the 2 face off this week. Meanwhile Cal continues to have the best season of his career and got some historical milestones he reached this weekend

Chaos, Drama, Eventful, every aspect of any good reality TV show was matched by this Dodgers Padres Series. 8 HBP, including 2 for Pages, Tatis and Ohtani. And yes of course the benches cleared. Meanwhile we got out first update for the All-Star voting and much more to talk about in today's episode.

WOW. I can't believe the news from this weekend. (Basically just Sunday) Rafael Devers was traded to the Giants AND Ohtani will be Pitching on an MLB Mound as he makes a start vs the Padres today. Oh ya this is going to be a good episode

Aaron Civale's birthday wish? Getting traded after being told he was moved to the bullpen. But I don't think he was thinking the White Sox as an ideal landing destination. On top of  that we had some new top prospects make their debuts including Roman Anthony the number 1 prospect in MLB. All this and more today

While things may be looking up for some teams, like the Mets, Reds and Blue Jays, others had tough weekends. D-Backs have lost their ace for the year, Phillies and Braves keep losing and some teams just can't catch a break. As the all-star game inches closer who will continue to shine this season.

We have a long episode today thanks to our May players of the month. As we look back at the best of May, we see which players have really stood out in 2025. Meanwhile the Rockies not only won their first series of the year, but it was also with the brooms as the sweep the Marlins, all this and more in today's episode. 

Welcome to June and boy do we have a massive episode. The Big Dumper Cal Raleigh is raining down on every team he faces and could be on pace for a historic season. Meanwhile the Rockies are STILL looking for win number 10 as the only thing they are playing for is to not break the White Sox record from last year. On top of all that, we still need to mention the Royals calling up their number 1 prospect as well as much more in today's episode

As we end the second month of the season, the picture starts to become a little more clearer but still plenty of things can change and we've seen it happen before. Which late bloomer still has a chance at the postseason, which earlier hot starter will become ice cold in the summer. Only time will tell. 

Another episode and another power rankings as we've got the 2nd edition of those. Tarik Skubal is him and might be him for a long time after his most recent dominance over the Tigers biggest division rival right now in the Guardians. All this and more in today's episode 

After 362 days, Ronald Acuna Jr is set to make his return to MLB as the big storyline for the upcoming weekend. In others news from this past week, the Phillies have taken over the top spot in the NL East from the Phillies after winning 7 straight and 10 of their last 12. And with us around the 50 game mark and close to a third of the season over, is it already time to put the Orioles hopes for a good season in the trash

MLB's first ever Rivalry Weekend showed some promise with a lot of great baseball and storylines over the weekend. So much to talk about in this episode from the best team in baseball being the Detroit Tigers, to a third managerial firing this month as well as a PED suspension and much more

The Twwwwwwwwwwwins stay winning as their 11th straight win has thrown them up into a wildcard spot as it stands. In other news Pete Rose could soon be elected into the MLB Hall Of Fame, or at least has a chance to in a recent decision by MLB. 

Cardinals and Twins seemed dead in the water early in the year. All of that has changed in the month of May as they are both on 8 game winning streaks have both gotten over .500. It's still early in the year and anything can happen but it has to feel good for those fans. Rockies, who are 7-33 and have struggled heavily this year are the second team to make a managerial change this month

Pirates have struggled early in the season and have made the move of firing their current manager Derek Shelton. Will this move spark the Pirates or will it destroy their season? Meanwhile Devers who was told that he would be the every day DH and wasn't happy with that, is now even more upset after getting asked to start playing 1B. Should the Red Sox make up their mind about him, or is he just blowing this up and making it worse for everyone involved?

Our first players of the month this year as we are one month already into the baseball season. Some teams and players keep rocking and rolling, one of which includes Javier Baez who has looked much better this year than the last couple of years. Is it going to last?

 Welcome to May. The second month of the season is here and so far there have been some pretty surprising teams thus far. Which will keep it up, which players can continue there great start to the seasons and which can turn it around and quickly. 

 Crazy weekend with lots of great baseball, including a feat we haven't seen since 2017 as Eugenio Suarez launched not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 home runs in a single game. Outside of that we have some fans who should never be allowed back in a stadium again in a quicker episode with a even quicker ending :)

 The A's go the farm and selected their number 1 prospect Nick Kurtz to join the major league team. Meanwhile the Mets are rolling winning their last 7 and are the hottest team in baseball. We also got to see Liam Hendricks back on the mound for the first time since 2023. 

A couple of big sweeps, specifically from teams in the NL East could set their tone for the next few weeks to come. Besides that we've got news about call-ups, ejections and suspensions, sweeps, injuries and more, as well as my first ever power rankings. 

This week, we celebrated Jackie Robinson Day. We had our first bench clearing off the year between the Pirates and Nationals, and wouldn't it be a surprise if the 4 best teams in baseball all came from the same division? Well that's what's happening currently for the NL West. 

Not sure if we are in 2014 or not, but the Tigers and Angels are hot early and both lead their divisions currently. And speaking of leading, the Padres lead in wins at home as they are a perfect 10-0 to start the season at Petco and have cruised their way past both the Giants and the Dodgers 

As we continue to get our feet wet into the season, we are starting to see which teams and players are shining and that means those NL West teams who are currently the top 3 teams in the league. And if you want to be the best you need elite pitching as well as top tier hitting, and for 2 teams, they really only have half of that. 

OMG. Finally, Vladdy signs an extension. Blue Jay fans rejoice as this decision no longer hangs over the heads of the fans and organization. Outside of that, 1/3 of the series had sweeps and of those teams that swept, they got 6 walk-offs in doing so in a wild weekend of baseball that had some teams come out as big winners, while others need to start asking some questions 

Boy, do we have an episode, two teams still undefeated, one team still winless. Profar got popped for an 80 game PED suspension, and we have plenty of other news and extensions to go into as we wrap up the opening week of the 2025 season.

 Opening Day, opening weekend, opening series. We are back with baseball here in 2025 and boy we already have some crazy story lines. The torpedo bat making it's presence known as the Yankees have a historic opening series and they aren't the only ones breaking history as the Marlins had not 1, not 2 but 3 walk off wins in their first series. It's good to be back. 
 

The week of Opening Day is upon us. 3 days away from baseball coming back and there is plenty of anticipation among many teams in the league. In today's episode, I make my award predictions as well as the 12 teams I think will make the postseason and of those 12 who will win it all. And because I didn't just want to put safe answers, I'm probably wrong about a bunch of things I said but only time will tell. 

Baseball is back. Well not quite yet, but we are less then a week away, and we did have some regular season baseball played this week in the form of the Tokyo Series between the Dodgers and Cubs. One team sure had a nice couple of games, while they other needs to find a way to jump start the offense. Less than a week away from Opening Day

Our last Division Outlooks and Predictions is the NL West. If the Dodgers weren't already good enough, they bring back a lot talent and add with Snell and Sasaki among others. How can the rest of the teams compete let alone the NL West teams. Padres and D-Backs will give it there all as both enter the season with good teams and great seasons the last 2 years or so. Giants will look to see if they could make some noise for the wildcard and the Rockies will definitely try and spoil a team or twos chances at a postseason...

Our penultimate Division Outlooks and Predictions is the AL Central. Dog fight for the division, All 4 teams have the chances of taking a playoff spot and winning the division. Only question is which team will have the most things go right for them. The Royals with MVP runner up star Bobby Witt, Guardians and the underrated man himself Jose Ramirez, Tigers on the backs of triple crown CY Young winner Tarik Skubal, or the Twins with a star center fielder when healthy in Byron Buxton. Oh and the White Sox will try to not lose 120 games again.

 Continuing our Division Outlooks and Predictions it is the AL East. Yankees finally made it back to the world series last year, but loss. They also loss Soto, but brought in 4 great players to help their team out. Red Sox got better with some nice additions while the Orioles still have young talent but lost Corbin Burnes and that rotation doesn't look great. You got 2 coin flip teams in the Rays and Blue Jays that could have great seasons but also really bad ones. With injuries galore for most of these teams, who will take the top spot this y...

 Next up for our Division Outlooks and Predictions is the NL East. It's a toss up at the top between the Braves, Phillies and Mets. Mets added Soto, Braves added Profar and Phillies added Luzardo. But who has the better / healthier team. Meanwhile the Nationals will have some fun with their young talent and 1 year deal guys, and the Marlins... well they have Sandy Alcantara back... for now. 

Our next Division Outlooks and Predictions for you is the NL Central. Brewers look to win another division this year but the Cubs have made some major moves including a trade for Kyle Tucker. Will Paul Skenes have an amazing year and elevate the Pirates to success? And how about those Reds, they have done a nice job retooling and if all goes right for them, maybe a chance at the postseason? For the Cardinals, uh, lets just say It could be a tough year. 

Let's get ready to rock and roll. Our first of 6 Division Outlooks and Predictions for you all here today and we are starting with the AL West. This division has belonged to the Astros for many of the past few years here, but with the losses of Bregman and Tucker, is another team primed to take over for them at the top, or will they show that they can still be a great team with some retooling. 

Baseball is back. Spring training is here and with it, the feeling of a new baseball season is upon us. As the offseason comes to rest, we get a couple of extensions and last couple of moves. And while they'll be a few more. We look to the start of the 2025 baseball season.

The last big free agent is finally signed. Alex Bregman is with the Boston Red Sox as we gear up for spring training games starting this week. Dodgers bring back some of the guys that have been around for a long time like Kike and of course Clayton Kershaw. Meanwhile Padres finally make some moves and bring in some help that they needed. 

Pete Alonso, after all of the talks and reports from the offseason, somehow still ends up back with the Mets. Not with the deal he once had but the Mets will take it because they could still be looking to add. Besides that Jack Flaherty who started the season with the Tigers before getting traded is now back again with the Tigers for 2025. 

Blue Jays keep on adding in the month of January, this time, they bring on 40 year old, future Hall Of Famer Max Scherzer to join their rotation. Meanwhile Tampa spends some money on Ha-Seong Kim and the Reds had a productive week making a trade and bringing in some help in the outfield. 

Blue Jays get a guy finally, and his name is Anthony Santander. Alongside that, the Braves add a guy wo like Santander had a career year as Jurickson Profar signs with the Braves. To top it all off we got to see which players will join the Hall Of Fame this year in today's episode

Welp, is anyone not surprised at this point. Roki Sasaki has made his decision and will be playing for the Dodgers in 2025 and beyond. Once again the Dodgers get a Japanese star while the Blue Jays once again miss out. So the question that everyone keeps asking, is this good or bad for baseball. Frankly I still have no idea or opinion.

 The Blue Jays are finally able to sign someone from free agency, only issue is that he failed two physicals before hand. Among all that the Mets and Pete Alonso may not be able to work a deal out which makes it seem likely he signs elsewhere and the Roki Sasaki sweepstakes has reached it's final week, and the last two teams in the race, the Dodgers and the Blue Jays. Hmmm, where have we see this before (Ohtani last year). And outside all that baseball news, legendary broadcaster Bob Uecker has passed away. 

A much more calm week in the offseason but still had some big moves including future hall of famer Justin Verlander who signed with the Giants and the Athletics signing Brent Rooker to a 5 year extension. Among that, the deadline for arbitration happened so lots to talk about this week. 

Happy New Years everyone. As 2025 begins, we have new beginnings for some players as Corbin Burnes joins the D-Backs and Gleyber Torres signs with the Tigers. On the other hand, we have some returning players as Teoscar is back with the Dodgers following their 2024 World Series and Josh Bell is back with the Nationals after a few seasons away from them.

Rickey Henderson, one of the greatest players in MLB history, Oakland A's history as well as the fastest baseball player ever, passed away at the age of 65, 5 days before his birthday on Christmas Day. As the baseball world mourns this passing, the Yankees go out and grab not 1 but 2 former MVPs to bolster a lineup after losing Soto. A couple of trades and a couple of big signings including Buehler, Manaea, and Walker among the deals from the week. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas everyone. 

Woah, holy week of winter meetings. So many big deals took place and so many familiar faces in new places. Kyle Tucker, you are a cub, Devin Williams, you are a yankee, Garret Crochet, you are a red sox. I mean the list goes on and on. Alongside all those trades we also had some signings but no bigger than Max Fried and his 8 year deal. 

SOTO, The sweepstakes are over and coming out on top was the Mets baby. All Mets fans can hail Steve Cohan. A historical deal breaking sports history, 1 year from a different historical deal that saw Ohtani go to the Dodgers. Insane stuff. Besides Soto we had a lot of other notable names sign this week so a big episode is upon us.  

The Soto domino might be falling as soon as this weekend. In the mean time Severino is taking a chance and signing with the *redacted* Athletics. Dodgers are making more deals with deferred money, this time Tommy Edman and to top this episode off, MLB is talking about a rule that lets the best hitter on a team, bat whenever they want once a game. Like what???

Finally a big week for free agency as the Dodgers nab another star, this time it's Blake Snell who also has deferrals in his deal. On the other side of LA, the Angels stay busy this winter and bring in lefty Yusei Kikuchi. That alone as this episode as the busiest one yet and that's not even mentioning the trade that the Reds and Royals made. 

Lets find out the winners of MVP, CY Young, Rookie and Managers Of The Year for the 2024 season, alongside some trades and signings as well as potentially having robot umps for the 2026 season. 

Angels continue to be the only team making some moves here and add to it with the signing of Travis d'Arnaud. Meanwhile MLB announced the All-MLB Teams for the 2024 season and news has it that Roki Sasaki, another Japanese superstar will get posted in the winter which has me very excited to get to see him pitch daily. 

The qualifying offers have been given out, and the stove will slowly start to heat up. Hendricks and Hedges sign, and we get going on some of my predictions for the offseason in today's episode 

The offseason gets underway with a whole lot of player and club options. Now we get to the fun stuff with the first wave of free agency starting, who will be the first big name off the market  

The Dodgers have done it, they are the 2024 World Series Champions. They took down the Padres in 5 games, they took down the Mets in 6 and they finish off the year on top beating the Yankees in 5 games in the world series. On to the offseason now 

Dodgers at home get the results they need, taking the first 2 games of the world series, heading now to New York, do the Yankees have anything left to give or will the Dodgers run away with it. 

The World Series is here. Yankees vs Dodgers, Judge vs Ohtani, Soto vs Betts, Stanton vs Freeman. Both teams know what's at stake. Both teams know how much they want to win. We started with 30 teams, we are down to 2 but there can only be 1 winner

Well that wraps up the ALCS and NLCS. And left at the top are the 1 seeds in baseball this season. The New York Yankees, and The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Guardians and Mets and will now battle it out in the 2024 World Series.
