The developing news today has left so many shocked and horrified: A beloved Hollywood legend and his wife, responsible for so many of the movies that made us laugh and cry over the years, were found stabbed to death in their Brentwood home. To make matters worse, we soon found out that their own son has been booked for their murders. Criminal Defense Attorney Alison Triessl joins Amy and T.J. to discuss today’s sooner than expected guilty verdict in the Brian Walshe trial. Triessl talks about how the defense overplayed its hand, and already had an uphill battle with those devastating and gruesome searches Brian made shortly after his wife Ana’s death. 39-year-old Sherrone Moore is waking up with an electronic monitoring device after being charged with felony third degree home invasion, stalking and breaking and entering. The prosecution spent a little more than half an hour trying to convince the jury to use their common sense and convict Brian Walshe of First Degree murder for what they call the “violent death” of his wife Ana on New Year’s Day three years ago. Just after noon ET, the jury began their deliberations and were given three options for their verdict: Guilty of first-degree murder, guilty of second-degree murder, or not guilty.

The defense attorney for Brian Walshe, Larry Tipton,  spent this morning making his best case for why jurors should find Brian Walshe not guilty of first degree murder in the death of his wife Ana. The Brian Walshe trial wrapped up its 6th day of testimony with a number of eerie visuals and evidence. Jurors saw Brian Walshe shopping for dismemberment supplies within hours of Ana Walshe’s death, even bringing their child with him to a follow up visit to the store. A new study shows a clear association between how young a child gets their first smartphone, and depression, anxiety and obesity.  A second study this week revealed that when young adults reduce their social media time, within just one week, there were significant reductions in depression and anxiety.  Amy and T.J. check their phones for time spent on social media, and then compared it with T.J.’s 12 year old and it was fairly shocking.

One of, if not THE largest jury award for a wrongful condition was given to a man who spent 4 decades working to exonerate himself. Earlier this year Darryl Boyd died from pancreatic cancer just months before he was finally set to go to trial, suing the city of Buffalo after spending decades behind bars for a murder he did not commit. Boyd was one of the so called “Buffalo 5”, teenaged black man all wrongfully accused in the robbery and murder of a white man. Boyd’s son and mother came to court every single day, in his honor.

It made big headlines this week after Travis Kelce pressed George Clooney on his claim that he and Amal haven’t fought in more than 10 years. After going through hotel security footage, Rosemont Police say Tara Reid’s drink was NOT tampered with while she stepped away for a cigarette. Videos circulating online show the 50-year-old actress out of control and seemingly wasted, eventually taken from the hotel bar in a stretcher to a nearby hospital. Reid says she still believes she was drugged, claiming she only had one glass of white wine that evening. Police and Reid are awaiting any tests that might have been done on Reid while she was hospitalized, but it remains unclear if any results will be made public.

In a leaked memo over the weekend, our country’s FDA vaccine chief stated that AT LEAST 10 children have died after, and because of receiving COVID-19 vaccinations. The medical community has largely responded with not only skepticism, but a demand for proof to back up what the FDA says is a “profound revelation." The memo goes on to blame the Biden administration for coercing “healthy young children” into having these vaccinations “that could result in death.”

Open AI has officially responded to a lawsuit filed against the company for the tragic death of 16 year old Adam Raine.  Raine died by suicide after his parents say ChatGPT discouraged their son from seeking help, offering to help him write a suicide note and gave him advice on how to set up a noose.  Open AI says Raine, at 16, was prohibited from using the chatbot in the first place, as users must be 18 years old.  The company also says Raine bypassed ChatGPT’s safety measures to use the chatbot for suicide or self harm.   Amy and T.J. go ove...

Family members are anxiously waiting for answers in the murder of 18 year old Anna kepner aboard a Carnival Cruise Ship earlier this month. Authorities haven’t officially named a suspect yet, but we’re now hearing from Kepner’s aunt, her grandparents and her own father about their suspicions. Like so many Americans, we got the kids up before the sun was up and hit the road to our favorite outlet mall. After spending an hour on the road, it took almost as long to simply turn into the entrance of Woodbury Commons in Harriman, NY and that was just the beginning of our adventure. Just in time for Thanksgiving, Jimmy Duncan is home with his family after a judge vacated his 1st degree murder conviction and released him from prison this week. Duncan was set to die for the rape and drowning death of a 23-month-old girl, whose mother now believes died accidentally, and not at the hands of her ex-boyfriend. Amy and T.J. go over the allegations of prosecutorial misconduct that set Duncan free and his fight to be fully exonerated.

Even though T.J. and Amy have yet to be invited on one, apparently “Cousin Walks” are all the rage and have been for years now. Ever notice a group of family members, one-by-one disappear for a little while before Thanksgiving dinner? Maybe they said they’re “getting some ice," or “walking the dog," but what they’re actually doing is getting high. In fact, it’s become such a phenomenon, the cousin walk has been credited with creating what’s now become known as “Green Wednesday," one of the busiest days for marijuana dispensaries in this country.

Police are officially investigating claims Tara Reid has made that someone spiked her drink over the weekend at a hotel bar just outside of Chicago.
