Self elected club ‘hype man’ Felix Henderson talks to Bainesey and the Heron about how he ‘creates the atmosphere for success’.  Perhaps more significantly, brother Oscar takes us from minis rugby, to rugby uni, a study year playing abroad, to becoming a leader and a key member of the teams success.  Two men who continue to make a huge contribution to the club.

Dave Hall - The Club Needs You!

After an unintended break, the pod returns to speak to Dave Hall, the volunteers coordinator. As well as being a wonderful person, he is using his experiences as a player, coach and all round great guy to support and increase the volunteer engagement across the club - ‘the club can’t run without volunteers.’

Home from Home, Sam Thomas - Mens player

Fresh from the mens second team winning their league, Bainesey speaks to Sam Thomas.  Sam has played for the club for the past nine seasons, picking up appearances for all four senior teams.


As some of the boys and girls academy players look to relocate for University, Sam is a great example of someone who found a home at the local rugby club to uni.  Fortunately for us, he found Farnham and has made the club his home.

Movember Walk

With the expanding roster of presenters to include more club captains, this week Bainesey welcomes back new host John Hartley, Vets Skipper, and they talk all things ‘Movember’ with Rich Best, the self-proclaimed ‘CEO’ of Farnham’s 60km ‘Mo Walk’.


The walk takes places in the final weekend of Movember, and will see over 50 club members from all sections meeting on the hallowed turf of Twickenham, before quite literally risking life and limb walking 60km along the Thames Path and Basingstoke Canal to reach Wilkinson Way in time for the 1st XV kicking off against Totton...
