סעיף א

ראש חודש אדר הסמוך לניסן שחל להיות בשבת קורין פרשת שקלים שהיא "כי תשא" עד "ועשית כיור נחשת", ומפטיר "ויכרות יהוידע".
ומוציאין שלושה ספרים: באחד קורא פרשת השבוע ובשני של ראש חודש ובשלישי קורא מפטיר בפרשת שקלים.

סעיף ב

בשבת שניה מוציאין שני ספרים: באחד קורא פרשת השבוע ובשני קורא "זכור את אשר עשה לך עמלק", ומפטיר "פקדתי את אשר עשה לך עמלק".

סעיף ג

בשבת שלישית שהוא ט"ו באדר מפסיקין, ובשבת רביעית שהיא כ"ב לאדר מוציאין שני ספרים: באחד קורא פרשת השבוע ובשני קורא פרשת פרה, ומפטיר "וזרקתי עליכם מים טהורים" (ועיין לעיל סימן קל"ז סעיף ה').

סעיף ד

בשבת חמישי שהוא כ"ט באדר מוציאין ב' ספרים: באחד קורא פרשת השבוע ובשני קורא "החודש הזה לכם", ומפטיר "בראשון באחד לחודש".

סעיף ה

חל ראש חודש אדר הסמוך לניסן בתוך ימי השבוע, ואפילו בערב שבת - מקדימין לקרות פרשת שקלים בשבת שלפניו, ומפסיקין בשניה כדי שתהא פרשת זכור בשבת הסמוכה לפורים מלפניה. ואם חל פורים בערב שבת מקדימים לקרות פרשת זכור בשבת שלפניו.

סעיף ו

הימים שראוי לקבוע בהם ראש חודש אדר - ז' ב' ד' ו'. וסימן לשבתות ההפסקה -זט"ו ו"ו ד"ד ובי"ו, כלומר:

כשחל ראש חודש בשבת מפסיקין בחמשה עשר בו וסימן זט"ו.

וכשחל ביום ב' מפסיקין בו' -וסימן ב"ו.

וכשחל ביום ד' מפסיקין בד' בו וסימן ד"ד.

וכשחל ביום ו' מפסיקין בשתי שבתות בו וי"ו וסימן ובוי"ו.

ב ריבוי הסעודות שמרבים בהם הם סעודות הרשות, שלא קבעום למשתה ושמחה. הגה: ויש אומרים שיש קצת מצוה בריבוי הסעודות, משום דבאותן הימים היה חנוכת המזבח (מהר"א מפראג). ונוהגין לומר זמירות ושבחות בסעודות שמרבים בהם, ואז הוי סעודת מצוה. יש אומרים שיש לאכול גבינה בחנוכה, לפי שהנס נעשה בחלב שהאכילה יהודית את האויב

ג אין מספידין בהם אלא לחכם בפניו. הגה: ואין מתענין יום שמת בו אב או אם. ותענית חלום בחנוכה עיין לעיל סימן תקס"ח סעיף ה'. ולענין צידוק הדין עיין לעיל בהלכות ראש חודש סימן ת"כ ס"ב בהגה, ועיין להלן סימן תרפ"ג

*הגה: ומנהג בני אשכנז אינו כן, אלא מראש חודש ואילך מתחילין לתקוע אחר התפילה שחרית. ויש מקומות שתוקעין גם כן ערבית. ועומדים באשמורת לומר סליחות ביום ראשון שלפני ראש השנה. ואם חל ראש השנה שני (או) שלישי, אז מתחילין מיום ראשון שבוע שלפניו
ואבֵל אסור לצאת מביתו כדי ליכנס לבית הכנסת לשמוע הסליחות, מלבד בערב ראש השנה שמרבים סליחות, יכול האבל ליכנס לבית הכנסת
וידקדקו לחזר אחר שליח ציבור היותר הגון והיותר גדול בתורה ובמעשים שאפשר למצוא, שיתפלל סליחות וימים נוראים, ושיהא בן שלושים שנים, גם שיהא נשוי (כל בו). מיהו כל ישראל כשרים הם, רק שיהיה מרוצה לקהל. אבל אם מתפלל בחוזקה, אין עונין אחריו אמן. וכן צריך שיוציא כל אדם בתפילתו. ואם יהיה לו שונא ומכוין שלא להוציאו, גם אוהביו אינם יוצאים בתפילתו

א יתגבר כארי לעמוד בבוקר לעבודת בוראו, שיהא הוא מעורר השחר. הגה: ועל כל פנים לא יאחר זמן התפילה שהציבור מתפללין הגה: "שויתי ה' לנגדי תמיד", הוא כלל גדול בתורה ובמעלות הצדיקים אשר הולכים לפני האלהים. כי אין ישיבת האדם ותנועותיו ועסקיו והוא לבדו בביתו, כישיבתו ותנועותיו ועסקיו והוא לפני מלך גדול; ולא דיבורו והרחבת פיו כרצונו, והוא עם אנשי ביתו וקרוביו, כדיבורו במושב המלך. כל שכן, כשישים האדם אל ליבו שהמלך הגדול, הקב"ה אשר מלא כל הארץ כבודו, עומד עליו ורואה במעשיו, כמו שנאמר: "אם יסתר איש במסתרים ואני לא אראנו נאם ה'", מיד יגיע אליו היראה וההכנעה בפחד השי"ת ובושתו ממנו תמיד ולא יתבייש מפני בני אדם המלעיגים עליו בעבודת השי"ת. גם בהצנע לכת ובשכבו על משכבו – ידע לפני מי הוא שוכב. ומיד שיעור משנתו, יקום בזריזות לעבודת בוראו יתברך ויתעלה

דיני קריאת מגילה ובו י"ח סעיפים

א קורא אדם את המגילה בין עומד,בין יושב אבל לא יקרא בציבור יושב לכתחילה מפני כבוד הציבור הגה ואסור לחזן לקרוא את המגילה עד שאומרים לו קרא

ב אפילו שניים ואפילו עשרה יכולים לקרותה ביחד ויוצאים הם והשומעים מהם

ג צריך לקרותה כולה, ומתוך הכתב. ואם קראה על פה, לא יצא. וצריך שתהא כתובה כולה לפניו לכתחילה. אבל בדיעבד, אם השמיט הסופר באמצעה תיבות, אפילו עד חציה, וקראם הקורא על פה, יצא. הגה: אבל אם השמיט תחילתה או סופה, אפילו מיעוטה, לא יצא. ואפילו באמצעה, דווקא דלא השמיט עניין שלם. אבל ביותר מחציה, אפילו הן כתובות, אלא שהן מטושטשות ואין רישומן ניכר, פסולה

ד מי שתופס בידו מגילה שאינה כשרה, לא יקרא עם שליח ציבור, אלא שומע ושותק. הגה: וכן לא יסייע שום אדם על פה לחזן. ולכן אותן הפסוקים שקורין הקהל, צריך החזן לחזור ולקרותם מתוך מגילה כשרה

ה קראה סירוגין, דהיינו שפסק בה ושהה, ואחר כך חזר למקום שפסק, אפילו שהה כדי לגמור את כולה, יצא. הגה: ואפילו סח בינתיים. מיהו גוערין במי שסח בינתיים, כדלקמן סימן תרצ"ב סעיף ב

ו הקורא את המגילה למפרע, לא יצא. קרא פסוק אחד ודילג השני וקרא שלישי, ואחר כך חזר וקרא השני, לא יצא, מפני שקרא למפרע פסוק אחד. אלא כיצד יעשה? מתחיל מפסוק שני ששכח, וקורא על הסדר

ז הקורא את המגילה על פה, לא יצא ידי חובתו

ח הלועז ששמע את המגילה הכתובה בלשון הקודש ובכתבי הקודש, אף על פי שאינו יודע מה הם אומרים, יצא ידי חובתו

ט היתה כתובה תרגום או בלשון אחרת מלשונות הגויים, לא יצא ידי חובתו בקריאתה אלא המכיר אותו הלשון בלבד. אבל אם היתה כתובה בכתב עברי וקראה ארמית לארמי, לא יצא, שנמצא זה קורא על פה; וכיוון שלא יצא הקורא ידי חובתו, לא יצא השומע ממנו. הגה: אבל אין לחוש באיזה כתב כתובה

י מי שיודע לעז ויודע אשורית, אינו יוצא בלעז. ויש אומרים שיוצא. הגה: ואם כתובה בשני לשונות, מי שמבינים יצאו

יא יש למחות ביד הקוראים לנשים המגילה בלשון לעז, אף על פי שכתובה בלשון לעז

יב קראה מתנמנם, הואיל ולא נרדם בשינה יצא. אבל אם שמעה מתנמנם, לא יצא

יג היה כותבה, שקורא פסוק במגילה שהוא מעתיק ממנה וכותבה אם כיוון ליבו לצאת ידי חובה, יצא. והוא שתהא כתובה כולה לפניו במגילה שהוא מעתיק ממנה. וכן אם היה מגיהה, וכן אם היה דורשה שקורא פסוק במגילה שלימה ודורשו אם כיוון ליבו לצאת ידי חובה, יצא. ולא יפסיק בה בעניינים אחרים כשדורשה, שאסור להפסיק בה בעניינים אחרים

יד הקורא את המגילה צריך שיכוין להוציא השומע וצריך שיכוין השומע לצאת. ואם הקורא שליח ציבור מסתמא דעתו על כל השומעים אפילו הם אחורי בית הכנסת אין מדקדקין בטעויותיה ויש אומרים דדווקא בטעות שהלשון והעניין אחד כההוא עובדא דתרי תלמידי דהוו יתבי קמיה דרב חד קרי יהודים וחד קרי יהודיים ולא אהדר חד מינייהו אבל טעות אחר לא

טו צריך לומר עשרת בני המן ועשרת הכל בנשימה אחת להודיע שכולם נהרגו ונתלו כאחד הגה ודווקא לכתחילה אבל בד

סדר ד' פרשיות

סעיף א
ראש חודש אדר הסמוך לניסן שחל להיות בשבת קורין פרשת שקלים שהיא "כי תשא" עד "ועשית כיור נחשת", ומפטיר "ויכרות יהוידע". ומוציאין שלושה ספרים: באחד קורא פרשת השבוע ובשני של ראש חודש ובשלישי קורא מפטיר בפרשת שקלים

סעיף ב
בשבת שניה מוציאין שני ספרים: באחד קורא פרשת השבוע ובשני קורא "זכור את אשר עשה לך עמלק", ומפטיר "פקדתי את אשר עשה לך עמלק"

סעיף ג
בשבת שלישית שהוא ט"ו באדר מפסיקין, ובשבת רביעית שהיא כ"ב לאדר מוציאין שני ספרים: באחד קורא פרשת השבוע ובשני קורא פרשת פרה, ומפטיר "וזרקתי עליכם מים טהורים (ועיין לעיל סימן קל"ז סעיף ה

סעיף ד
בשבת חמישי שהוא כ"ט באדר מוציאין ב' ספרים: באחד קורא פרשת השבוע ובשני קורא "החודש הזה לכם", ומפטיר "בראשון באחד לחודש

סעיף ה
חל ראש חודש אדר הסמוך לניסן בתוך ימי השבוע, ואפילו בערב שבת - מקדימין לקרות פרשת שקלים בשבת שלפניו, ומפסיקין בשניה כדי שתהא פרשת זכור בשבת הסמוכה לפורים מלפניה. ואם חל פורים בערב שבת מקדימים לקרות פרשת זכור בשבת שלפניו

סעיף ו
הימים שראוי לקבוע בהם ראש חודש אדר - ז' ב' ד' ו'. וסימן לשבתות ההפסקה -זט"ו ו"ו ד"ד ובי"ו, כלומר
כשחל ראש חודש בשבת מפסיקין בחמשה עשר בו וסימן זט"ו
וכשחל ביום ב' מפסיקין בו' -וסימן ב"ו
וכשחל ביום ד' מפסיקין בד' בו וסימן ד"ד
וכשחל ביום ו' מפסיקין בשתי שבתות בו וי"ו וסימן ובוי"ו

סעיף ז
יש אומרים שפרשת זכור ופרשת פרה אדומה חייבים לקרותם מדאורייתא, לפיכך בני היישובים שאין להם מנין צריכים לבוא למקום שיש מנין בשבתות הללו, כדי לשמוע פרשיות אלו שהם מדאורייתא. הגה: ואם אי אפשר להם לבוא, מכל מקום יזהרו לקרותם בנגינתם ובטעמם

דיני חיוב קריאת המגילה

סעיף א

חייב אדם לקרות המגילה בלילה ולחזור ולשנותה ביום. ושל לילה – זמנה כל הלילה, ושל יום – זמנה כל היום, מהנץ החמה עד סוף היום; ואם קראה משעלה עמוד השחר – יצא

סעיף ב

מבטלים תלמוד תורה לשמוע מקרא מגילה, קל וחומר לשאר מצוות של תורה, שכולם נדחים מפני מקרא מגילה. ואין לך דבר שנדחה מקרא מגילה מפניו, חוץ ממת מצווה שאין לו קוברים (כדי צורכו), שהפוגע בו – קוברו תחילה ואחר כך קורא. הגה: וכל זה לא מיירי אלא בדאיכא שהות לעשות שתיהן. אבל אם אי אפשר לעשות שתיהן, אין שום מצווה דאורייתא נדחית מפני מקרא מגילה (ר"ן ובית יוסף בשם תוספות ומהר"א מזרחי). והא דמת מצווה קודם, היינו דווקא בדאפשר לו לקוראה אחר כך (מהר"א מזרחי

שהכל חייבים בקריאת מגילה

הכל חייבים בקריאתה: אנשים ונשים, וגרים ועבדים משוחררים. ומחנכים את הקטנים לקרותה

סעיף ב

אחד הקורא ואחד השומע מן הקורא, יצא ידי חובתו. והוא שישמע ממי שהוא חייב בקריאתה. לפיכך, אם היה הקורא חרש או קטן או שוטה, השומע ממנו לא יצא. ויש אומרים שהנשים אינם מוציאות את האנשים. הג"ה: ויש אומרים, אם האשה קוראה לעצמה, מברכת "לשמוע מגילה", שאינה חייבת בקריאה (מרדכי פרק קמא דמגילה

סעיף ג

אנדרוגינוס מוציא מינו, ולא שאינו מינו. טומטום ומי שחציו עבד, אפילו מינו אינו מוציא. הגה: יש אומרים דאפילו את עצמו אינו מוציא, וצריך לשמוע מאחרים (ב"י

סעיף א

בחנוכה ופורים מותר להתענות לפניהם ולאחריהם

סעיף ב

מתענים בי"ג באדר. ואם חל פורים בא' בשבת, מקדימין להתענות ביום חמישי. הגה: ותענית זו אינו חובה, לכן יש להקל בו לעת הצורך, כגון מעוברות או מיניקות או חולה שאין בו סכנה. ואפילו רק כואבי עיניים, שאם מצטערים הרבה – לא יתענו, ויפרעו אחר כך. אבל שאר בריאים – לא יפרשו מן הצבור (חידושי אגודה בשם מחזור ויטרי) ואם חל פורים ביום א', שמתענין ביום ה' שלפניו, וחל בו ברית מילה, מותר לאכול על המילה, ולמחר ביום ו' יתענו האוכלים (הגהות מנהגים

סעיף ב'

אין גוזרין תענית על הציבור בראשי חדשים חנוכה ופורים. ואם התחילו, שגזרו להתענות כך וכך ימים והתחילו בהם קודם ראש חודש אפילו יום אחד, אין מפסיקין ומתענין ומשלימין

סעיף ג'

יחיד שקיבל עליו תענית כך וכך ימים ופגע בו ראש חדש, או שקיבל עליו להתענות בראש חודש, אם קיבלו בלשון קבלת תענית בעלמא אין צריך התרה. ואם קיבלו עליו בלשון "הרי עלי" שהוא לשון נדר, צריך התרת חכם

סעיף ד'

אם נשבע להתענות כך וכך ימים, ואירע בהם ראש חדש, השבועה חלה עליו מטעם איסור כולל. ואם נשבע בפירוש להתענות בראש חדש, נראה לי שחלה עליו שבועה, כיון שאינו אלא מדרבנן; אלא שמדברי הרמב"ם נראה לכאורה שהוא מדאורייתא
