In part one of The Quiet Year the cast begins creating the post apocalyptic town of Newer Bedford, with some magical twists. 

Olivia and Rit venture into the long abandoned train tunnel, delving into a place they couldn’t have imagined.

Olivia and Rit leave the only home they’ve ever known, picking up a new companion along the way.

Olivia, gifted with the rare ability to safely ignite the magical crystals of Newer Bedford, eagerly awaits her appointment as the next Light Keeper. But when the title is given to another, her impulsive mistake puts those she loves in danger. 

Meanwhile, Rit, the town herbalist, arrives with startling news from beyond Newer Bedford—offering both a glimmer of hope and a mystery. As fate takes an unexpected turn, our heroes are thrust into the unknown, searching for answers that could change everything.
