39-year-old Sherrone Moore is waking up with an electronic monitoring device after being charged with felony third degree home invasion, stalking and breaking and entering. Moore was fired by the University of Michigan earlier this week after they learned of a years long inappropriate relationship with a staffer. Within an hour, prosecutors say he barged into that woman’s house and everything unraveled from there in a shocking series of events.

The prosecution spent a little more than half an hour trying to convince the jury to use their common sense and convict Brian Walshe of First Degree murder for what they call the “violent death” of his wife Ana on New Year’s Day three years ago. The defense attorney for Brian Walshe, Larry Tipton,  spent this morning making his best case for why jurors should find Brian Walshe not guilty of first degree murder in the death of his wife Ana. It was a complicated, technical day of blood evidence highly important to the prosecution’s case, but the problem was, it was difficult for anyone other than a forensic scientist to absorb and understand the testimony. One of, if not THE largest jury award for a wrongful condition was given to a man who spent 4 decades working to exonerate himself. Earlier this year Darryl Boyd died from pancreatic cancer just months before he was finally set to go to trial, suing the city of Buffalo after spending decades behind bars for a murder he did not commit. After going through hotel security footage, Rosemont Police say Tara Reid’s drink was NOT tampered with while she stepped away for a cigarette. Videos circulating online show the 50-year-old actress out of control and seemingly wasted, eventually taken from the hotel bar in a stretcher to a nearby hospital. Reid says she still believes she was drugged, claiming she only had one glass of white wine that evening. Police and Reid are awaiting any tests that might have been done on Reid while she was hospitalized, but it remains unclear if any results will be made public.

Prosecutors lined up the witnesses on day 3 of the Brian Walshe trial, establishing Ana Walshe’s final travel movements. They also produced photos and testimony surrounding the evidence police found in multiple trash bags from a dumpster near Brian’s mother’s home. 22-year-old Rebecca Park was 38 weeks pregnant when she went missing in early November. 3 weeks later her body was found by her father with her unborn child cut out of her womb. What an incredible story out of New Orleans over the weekend. 62-year-old Calvin Duncan has gone from being an 8th grade educated convicted murderer to an exonerated, college educated lawyer who just won Clerk of Criminal Court. Robert Redford’s daughter’s boyfriend, Sid Wells, was murdered more than 40 years ago on the campus of CU Boulder. His murder was never solved and his killer, never captured. But now, Redford’s death has re ignited the focus to find Wells’ killer. The actor had been passionate about solving the case while he lived, and so the FBI re-released the name and photo of the man they believe is responsible, hoping to catch now 66 years old Thayne Smika who vanished in 1986.

Today the Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board recommended clemency be granted to 46-year-old Tremane Wood. Wood was convicted of stabbing and killing Ronnie Wipf during a 2002 New Year’s Day robbery. Wood has maintained his innocence for the past 2 decades, and his lawyers today presented a compelling enough argument that gave him a 3-2 decision in favor of clemency. Now Oklahoma’s Governor must decide whether to  uphold the recommendation or keep Wood’s execution date set for next week on November 13th.

In a move we haven’t seen in more than 100 years, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor is no longer allowed to use the title of Prince. His brother, King Charles the Third has stripped his younger brother of all titles, honors and positions and has evicted him from his Royal home in Windsor. The state of Florida continues its record setting year of 14 executions and counting, with number 15 scheduled for Tuesday, October 28th. In an unusual move, 65-year-old Norman Grim has chosen not to fight tomorrow’s scheduled lethal injection for the 1998 rape and murder of his next door neighbor.  Meantime, in Tennessee, a lawsuit challenging the state’s lethal injection method, claims the August 5th execution of Byron Black was botched, his autopsy showing sustained cardiac activity 2 minutes after he was pronounced dead, with his final words “It’s hurting so bad."

53-year-old Anthony Boyd made a last minute plea to the Governor of Alabama, hours before his scheduled execution. Boyd is set to die by nitrogen gas anywhere from midnight tonight through Friday at 6am for the 1993 burning death of Gregory Huguley. He has maintained his innocence for more than 30 years after being convicted along with three others of the heinous murder, but there are a number of questions from his representation to the eyewitness testimony used against him that have a major organization fighting for his life.

A bizarre story that keeps getting stranger.  Following his arrest at the border, “Family Matters” star, 49 year-old Darius McCrary says he was not trying to flee the country, instead he claims he accidentally went to Mexico and wait until you hear why. McCrary reportedly owes $95,000 in child support payments and missed his court hearing on the matter, prompting an arrest warrant. McCrary has an explanation for that too, but his appearance in court yesterday was so strange, even the judge seemed confused.

19-year-old twins Naazir and Qaadir Lewis were found dead last spring on a remote Georgia mountain top. Police say it was a planned, double suicide, but their family isn’t buying it, claiming the teens would never harm one another or themselves. In a rare move, the Texas Court of Appeals has just halted the execution of 58-year-old Robert Roberson. Roberson was set to die by lethal injection October 16th and become the first person in this country executed for a shaken baby syndrome conviction after the death of his 2 year old daughter. He will now have another day in court to present new evidence, his lawyers saying they hope he will finally be exonerated after spending the last 22 years behind bars, an innocent man.

The state of Texas is set to execute 58-year-old Robert Roberson next week, but his attorneys have filed a last minute request for a new trial based on a recent Dateline podcast. Roberson would be the first person to ever be put to death for shaken baby syndrome, following the 2002 death of his 2 year old daughter Nikki. The science he was convicted on is no longer regarded and is considered “junk science.”  That information alone brought lawmakers from both sides of the aisle to intervene last year, to stay his execution, but that stay is up and Roberson time is up...
