Hamnet is here! Yes i did pronounce the G in Agnes and feel dumb for it I also said Gladiator 3 which is a movie that doesn't exist. Wonderful the holiday season isn't wearing on my energy at all I'm sure.

Keeper is here! As I explained apologies for the episode delay been busy with the day job and holidays doing the best I can to stick to the schedule I've set for myself. Keeper was an interesting one liked more than the Monkey less than Longlegs. Had some nightmarish visuals, but the big bad wolf could easily blow down this flimsy story.

Edgar Wright and Glen Powell are here to deliver The Running Man a new adaptation of the Stephen King novel. While having a more modern and faithful adaptation, did this movie really have fun with the idea? Or is action taking itself a little too seriously now. Decided to go back and revisit the Running Man from the 80's to show Arnold some love before diving into the Edgar Wright film. I saw Frankenstein!.....on my couch thanks Netflix. My lack of theatrical experience with this aside I had a good time with Frankenstein I had my hang ups in places and I get into what I think is wrong with what is still a fun movie. Enjoy! Shame A24 for not releasing this as wide and not advertising much because this was well done! Stressful as hell but hey sometimes we need movies like this to give us some perspective. Hope I can give a little exposure to this because it's not being talked about much but Rose Byrne definitely has a case for best actress. Enjoy!

After the Hunt has its issues mainly in the story structure standpoint and pacing, but I still found things to like here. Is the investigative thriller a movie that's not really made anymore? After the Hunt got my juices flowing there despite its flaws. Enjoy!

Yes I'm releasing a comedy on Halloween unfortunately it's just how the schedule fell for me. I dive into Good Fortune a new class comedy coming from Aziz Ansari. Does a blunt wholesome message work in a comedy? Are stories of class better told from a non comedic standpoint? Curious considering how I felt about this one. Enjoy!

Are sexual thrillers dead? It's pretty amazing seeing a genre so prevalent in the 80's and 90's just fall off the face of the earth really, at least in the popular space.
