In the men’s quarterfinals, Novak Djokovic overcame a brief scare after slipping on match point to defeat Flavio Cobolli in four sets, 6-7, 6-2, 7-5, 6-4, earning his 14th Wimbledon semifinal appearance. Jannik Sinner, in commanding form despite earlier elbow issues, dispatched Ben Shelton 7-6, 6-4, 6-4 to set up a blockbuster semifinal against Djokovic.
