In this special Radio Harrow interview, our presenter Sima Vadgama chats with Caroline from Harrow Cycle Hub about the upcoming Diwali Bike Ride collaborated with Harrow Cyclists.

That took place on Saturday 11th October (4:30–6:30pm) at Harrow Cycle Hub, the event brought together families, children, and the wider community for an evening of cycling, music, dance, decorated bikes, and plenty of Diwali fun. From inclusive cycling sessions to a Diwali dance workshop and prizes for the best dressed bike, there was something for everyone.

In an exclusive interview, our very own Sima sits down with Helen from Thames21 and Lynn Scott, the chairperson of Chandos Park, to celebrate the fantastic "Action for Silk Stream" project. Following the recent ribbon-cutting event, they discuss how the project has transformed the park with a re-aligned Edgware Brook, new wetland areas to help with flooding, and brand-new community features like a playground and paths.

Neil is a pianist and composer who regularly plays concerts in Harrow, either solo or with a cellist or violinist. His repertoire includes a vast selection of music from the likes of Beethoven, Erik Satie, Rachmaninoff , Vivaldi and others as well as his own compositions.
