Welcome to another Raw Saturday Night! In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys chat it up about another weak Saturday night version of Monday Night Raw. Edge takes on Jeff Jarrett, the Rock has some words for Triple H and Kane, and Chyna might have some lust in her eyes for Mark Henry!

The big dogs stay home on Saturday nights! In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys view the fallout of SummerSlam, and a generally weak episode of Monday Night Raw. Vince McMahon baits the Undertaker and Kane, who go on a smearing streak through the whole episode, while less-than-interesting matches featuring Southern Justice and Los Boricuas get their full time on the card. It says something when Tiger Ali Singh is one of the most entertaining things in an episode- pucker up, sardine lips!

There’s a pretty big lack of Demon Seed here! In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys examine the payoff of what was a notably poor buildup: SummerSlam 1998! Matches featuring D-Lo Brown and Ken Shamrock backed up some big-name contests including Stone Cold Steve Austin, the Undertaker, the Rock, and Triple H. Sable screeches her way back into the forefront, the horrible DX Band gives us a reprise, and there’s even a rare PPV Jobber of the Week. Watch out for those baby-stealing gypsies!

The Brawl for All bodycount reaches a crescendo!  In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys take a look at the go-home show leading into SummerSlam 1998.  Dan Severn finally gets exposed, Southern Justice finally gets some in-ring time, and we finally get some resolution in the Cahoots! storyline (or do we?).  Taka Michinoku approaches full “jobber” status while Bart Gunn confirms “badass” status, and take a drink every time there’s potential for CTE!

What’s that dripping out of Val’s pink cannon? In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, we continue to build up to SummerSlam, with Stone Cold Steve Austin and the Undertaker setting up the story for their Main Event. Owen Hart and Ken Shamrock look good together, while Dan “the Beast” Severn continues to impress everyone. Nothing makes sense in the Six Man Street Fight between DeGeneration-X and the Nation, but Gangrel debuts on our screens. Wow, is that really President Clinton calling in tonight?

Is the Brawl For All over yet?  In this episode of Wrasslin' Raw, the boys are deep in the lead-up to SummerSlam, as well as the intrigue of CAHOOTS.  Vader had a chance to get some hos from the Godfather, Droz gets some more screen time, and Southern Justice definitely does not have a match booked.  It's also entirely possible that Jeff Jarrett might be interesting again!

Kane & Mankind take on the New Age Outlaws, which turns into a demolition derby of human anatomy! Tiger Ali Singh pays people to remove their garments. Sgt Slaughter is still the commissioner, and we get action featuring Stone Cold Steve Austin, the Undertaker, Owen Hart, the Rock, Triple H and X Pac. Did Kai En Tai leave Val Venis jobless?

Choppy choppy your pee pee! We have reached a classic episode of Monday Night Raw. Val Venis runs into some issues with Kaientai, the Godfather has some escorts with him for the first time, and Dr Death is on the receiving end of a career ending knockout blow by Bart Gunn. We also discuss a main event tag match featuring Stone Cold Steve Austin, the Undertaker, Kane, and Mankind.

Let the downward spiral of Steve Williams’ future begin!  In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys watch the go-home Monday Night Raw leading into the Fully Loaded Pay Per View.  This week’s “Brawl 4 All” victim was Quebecer Pierre, while everybody was a victim of being subjected to another DOA/LOD match.  D-Lo Brown wins the European Championship, Faarooq returns to our screens, and The Rock defends the Intercontinental Title against X-Pac.  How can you tell if a mumu is worked?

We’re just gonna pretend like it never happened!  In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys sit down to talk about another “Brawl 4 All”-era Monday Night Raw, where the only thing more common than the ruined careers are “we want wrestling” chants.  Dan “The Beast” Severn boxes with the Godfather, and the New Midnight Express’ choice to box each other leads to a cataclysmic breakup.  Mick’s shoulder is still messed up, can we raise his arm if it’s to give him a Tag Tile?

Let’s dip our toes into Texas once again!  In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys review a lesser example of what World Class Championship Wrestling can provide, with matches featuring Captain Frank Dusek and Wild Bill Irwin.  Gary Hart ushers in a feud between the Great Kabuki and Kerry Von Erich, while Kevin Von Erich gets a squash match against Pseudo Castro.  If back acne can be appropriate, why aren’t time limit draws?

Let’s take a trip to Texas!  In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys dip their toes into the waters of World Class Championship Wrestling.  Matches featuring the Great Kabuki, the Von Erich Brothers and others entertain, while Tom “Boogaloo” Shaft does not.  Announcer Gene Goodson is serviceable, but wait, is that… oh no! How many times has Scorpio been Jobber of the Week?  In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys are on the Road to SummerSlam by way of the King of the Ring, and it’s bracket season!  Faarooq remains in an unpleasant position, Edge is starting to lose his mystique, and the Undertaker has evolved into Mr. Sweatpants.  Droz is lost in the garbage, and there’s a lot of beef in the ring when Mark Henry takes on Vader.  It’s a five-year anniversary spectacular, and it’s a black tie affair!

Get ready for a Chicago Street Flop! In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys get into King of the Ring Bracket season, with Marc Mero, Mark Henry, “Double J” Jeff Jarrett, and Faarooq all in Qualifier Matches. Val Venis continues to satisfy, while LOD and the DOA continue to stink the place up. Vince McMahon continues to alienate his superstars, and Taka Michinoku continues to do the same moves. Kane and the Undertaker have a #1 Contender Match, and Vader makes his debut on the soundboard!

Who’s ready for some college football stats? In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys check out an underrated Pay Per View, In Your House 22: Over the Edge. There’s a “bonus” Kai En Tai match, Sable gets swerved, and Vader gains self-awareness. Even though the Rock and Faarooq are underwhelming, DeGeneration-X and the Nation deliver an entertaining Six Man Tag match, and there’s a Match of the Year candidate in Stone Cold Steve Austin versus “Corporate” Dude Love.  Hitler, Stalin… McMahon?

Seriously, more LOD2000 and DOA?  In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys check out the go-home show, leading in the Over the Edge Pay Per View.  Some legendary matchups are touted in this episode, like The Rock versus Triple H and Stone Cold Steve Austin versus the Undertaker.  Dan Severn gets technical with Owen Hart, and Thrasher of the Headbangers jobs out in the debut of the Jackyl’s Oddities.  Someone else debuts too, and HE’S GONNA PUKE!

Edge makes his on screen debut, and Sable has an 80’s training montage video. The DOA and LOD2000 take part in an 8-man tag team match, but the Undertaker saves the day by punching Commissioner Slaughter in the face. Mick Foley and Terry Funk take out the hot dog guy, and Stone Cold Steve Austin finally slides a Steveweiser down the gussy!

Things go a little off the rails when the Jackyl drives viewers to Nitro, and the New Age Outlaws ride their dumpster gimmick into the future!

How many times can Vader be killed, and who is the real supernatural entity here?  In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys examine this “tweener” Pay Per View on the road to WrestleMania.  Matches featuring Ken Shamrock, The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Cactus Jack give a respectable showing, while the NWA angle, Jerry’s Kid, and Quebec vs. Arkansas stink the place up.  Sable takes ruining things to the next level, but at least Shawn Michaels is here, right? It’s time to address the age old question: what’s better, two wrestlers in the ring or two implants outside of it? In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys review the go-home show leading into the No Way Out of Texas Pay Per View. Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels continue to fire shots at each other, and Ken Shamrock looks good getting blasted in the face with a chair by The Rock. The Jackyl shows up to ruin a Steve Blackman match, and while he’s an uncouth imbecile, he’s no blue chipper!

This isn’t cool- this isn’t hip!  In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys tune in to a classic episode, with a lengthy story involving Cactus Jack, Chainsaw Charlie, and the New Age Outlaws.  “Merolyndust” does a great job of being bizarre, the NWA does a great job of being terrible, and the Kurgan does a great job of dragging a jobber by his forehead.  Tiger Ali Singh graces the screen, and Wink Collins almost gets murdered by Kane.  Damn it, somebody’s got to make fun of Sable!

THEY RUINED IT!  In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys get the fallout from the shove heard ‘round the world, and a pretty filler-heavy episode of Monday Night Raw.  Ken Shamrock continues to get lumped in with the lump-heavy Ahmed Johnson, and now the Disciples of Apocalypse join the mix.  The NWA angle gets more bloated, while Shawn Michaels continues to stir the pot between Mike Tyson and Stone Cold Steve Austin.  Owen Hart wins the European Title… but here’s Jerry’s Kid!

Who wants some more gang warfare?  In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys get subjected to more of the Disciples of Apocalypse and Los Boricuas than they probably deserve.  Barry Windham makes a shocking turn in favor of the NWA, the Quebecers take on Cactus Jack and Chainsaw Charlie, and the New Age Outlaws are in action with the Godwinns.  Sable gets flowers delivered, Tom Brandi is somehow still in the ring, and Ahmed Johnson is as big as ever.  Here’s the shove heard ‘round the world!

It took eleven seasons, but we’re finally mature!  In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys check out the 1998 Royal Rumble, the first of the Big Four of 1998.  The minis get an automatic dud, Luna rode the Mastodon up the three stars, and Shane McMahon debuts on our screens.  Dave Meltzer’s star ratings fall apart, despite all three faces of Foley showing up in the Rumble.  Shawn Michaels gets his balls grabbed by the Undertaker, and Mike Tyson loves Cold Stone!

It’s a two-man booth tonight!  In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys watch the fifth anniversary episode of Monday Night Raw in the lead-up to the Royal Rumble Pay Per View.   A Jobber of the Week double-header props up a match with the Kurgan and Jackyl, a four-man tag team match tries to prop up the limping tag team division, and Taka Michinoku jobs out to Los Boricuas. Goldust cosplays as Sable and Dude Love on the same night, and- oh no!  It’s the Honky Tonk Man!

The Legion of Doom takes on D-Generation X, and Dude Love continues to scrap with the New Age Outlaws. Thank goodness the Sultan had a match, we almost forgot about him!

When you take a look at Luna and the artist formerly known as Goldust, you’ll be glad you had your dark britches on!

In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the aftermath of the Montreal Screwjob continues as the boys get treated to Vince McMahon’s infamous “Bret screwed Bret” interview. The six-man mini match is a double disappointment, and Goldust continues to antagonize Vader (with a hammer this time!). Stone Cold Steve Austin and the Rock turn the heat up on their program, and Jerry Lawler takes on Marc Mero. Sable is the best at standing there and looking at things!

In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys get an overall entertaining episode, where Farooq calls out Bret Hart’s pale ass and Ken Shamrock shines against Rocky Maivia. Jeff Jarrett surprises everyone with a return and a shoot about WCW, and Owen Hart and Shawn Michaels have a great match. Taka Michinoku versus Tajiri fizzles out, and Dude Love has an unfortunate run-in with Kane. Ahmed now lives in an oil slick of his own making!

Marc Mero returned to the ring, and Kane showed up to smear the Hardy Boys.  Owen is a loogie that needs Hawk-ed up!

After a tremendous buildup, Vince McMahon finally gets a Stunner by Stone Cold Steve Austin, while matches featuring Owen Hart, Brian Pillman, Goldust and Bret “the Hitman'' Hart all look good. Cactus Jack debuts in a great match against Hunter Hearst Helmsley, HOWEVER Jim “the Anvil” Neidhart is back- and still has that goatee!

Vince McMahon wants Shawn Michaels’ BULGE in our FACES!  In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys get a night of lowlights in an unusually bad episode of Monday Night Raw.  Ken Shamrock and Faarooq’s brief match was great, but things went downhill when a bombed-out Sunny showed up, Mr. Sucky and the minis wasted everyone’s time, and the Patriot made Owen Hart look bad in the ring. Matches featuring Goldust, Brian Pillman, and a new crop of Lucha Minis all fall flat, while Shawn Michaels and the Undertaker get 5 stars. The tag team division gets new champions, and Bret Hart won’t even speak the Patriot’s name going into their match. The medics in Louisville are terrible!

Who’s ready to grow another testicle? In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys watch the last Monday Night Raw episode leading into the Ground Zero Pay Per View. Matches featuring the Legion of Doom and Flash Funk fall short, while the main event brings together the Undertaker, Mankind, Shawn Michaels, and Hunter Hearst Helmsley. Goldust and Marlena accept a challenge from Brian Pillman, and there continues to be too much of the Patriot on our screens. That kid is back on our screens again!

Who’s ready for a… Country Whipping Match? In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys find out just how much Scott Putski can do in three and a half minutes - not much! Additional matches featuring Ken Shamrock and Flash Funk round out the card, while the Patriot gets way too much screen time. Shawn Michaels and Mankind are in the main event, and Stone Cold Steve Austin’s broken freakin’ neck continues to be a sore spot. On a positive note, we’re fortunate enough to see Chainz wrestle, right?

Bret and Owen Hart kick the episode off on a high note, and Stone Cold Steve Austin makes a questionable decision to wrestle. The new Commissioner, Sergeant Slaughter, makes his debut, and Brian Pillman is his first target. Vince McMahon gets his heart broken, and Bob Holly gets… a victory? Unbelievable!

The key was three! In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys sit down to talk about the 1997 SummerSlam, a very mixed bag of match quality and storytelling. Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Mankind have a highly-rated steel cage match, Ken Shamrock finally snaps against the British Bulldog, and Stone Cold Steve Austin gets his neck broken by Owen Hart. Shawn Michaels’ referee uniform is appropriately sized, and Ahmed Johnson remains disgustingly overdressed. Mother or not, Marlena’s hot!

If you’ve got the hose, Pittsburgh is the hole! In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys get the go-home Raw Is War leading into SummerSlam 1997. Bret Hart and the Pittsburgh crowd have an energetic confrontation, as do Chyna and Mankind. The Patriot gets some action in the ring, while Ahmed Johnson shows up wearing all of the baby oil ever produced. The Cartoon Stable division gets a new member with the Truth Commission, and Dr. James Andrews does everyone a solid. Let’s all bump and grind!

Let’s be honest, who hasn’t wanted to slap the shit out of Vince McMahon?  In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys get another mixed bag of matches featuring Vader, Ken Shamrock, Goldust, and Farooq.  The tag team division gets highlighted in a three way tag match, while the main event (a six-man tag team Flag Match!) gives us Dude Love, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and the Hart Foundation.  Holy crap, it’s a burnt piece of wood!

Stipulations aplenty! The Hart Foundation lays it all out there. All stipulations for Summerslam 1997 have been cemented. We catch our first glimpse of The Patriot. The Undertaker got to unceremoniously punch Vader in the face, and Ken Shamrock stared down Dan “The Beast” Severn.  We had Crush before, but now we’ve got four of them!

Hey, Mankind’s got a nice ass, too! In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys get served a weak dish of Raw is War. The long-awaited match between Steve Austin and Brian Pillman delivers serviceable results, while the episode’s storytelling doesn’t. The roster of the Calgary Stampede is announced, Marc Mero and the BIONIC Sable are back on our screens, and the WWF debuts its new Light Heavyweight Division in a forgettable match. How many times can the Undertaker keep getting bitched out?!?

This is the episode we’ve all been waiting for- Crush is FIRED! In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys ride a rollercoaster of emotion while the WWF rides its own rollercoaster of backstage drama. Matches featuring Rob Van Dam and Owen Hart look decent, while a backstage fight between Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels forces another audible, with Mankind subbing in for a sub-in against Brian Pillman. In a world of regurgitated Pay Per View matches, nobody gives a shit about the European title!

Crush ruined things again! In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys view the 1997 King of the Ring, one of the higher tiered Pay Per Views of the year. Matches featuring Stone Cold Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, the Undertaker, and Farooq all (mostly) live up to their promise, while Ahmed Johnson, Jerry Lawler, and Goldust all fall flat. Hunter Hearst Helmsley beats Mankind in a barnburner to become the King of the  Ring, and Vince McMahon continues to poison commentary with various MANEUVERS!

Is anyone else having Sunny days?  In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys get treated to a legendary episode of Monday Night Raw, jam-packed with Shawn Michaels’ “Sunny Days” comment to Bret Hart, the first episode of Jim Ross’ interview with Mankind, and major progress in the evolution of the Nation of Domination.  This is complemented by a Paul Bearer promo, a great match between Farooq and Rocky Maivia, and backstage vignettes with Steve Austin.  Someone give that kid a Doomsday Device!

Everyone gets a rager this week! In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys take a look at the Monday Night Raw following the Cold Day in Hell Pay Per View. Besides a weak debut from Scott Putski, strong matches featuring Ahmed Johnson, Savio Vega, and Rob Van Dam round out the card. We get the finish to the Goldust exposé, a cluster of a 4-way Tag Team Elimination match, and a very satisfying send-off to the worst hype men ever. Any time Crush gets punched in the face, we’re going to like it!
