L'etologia equina, la scienza che studia il comportamento del cavallo (e non solo quello), ci aiuta almeno un po' a capire chi è il cavallo, cosa cerca nella vita, quali aspirazioni ha in base, per esempio, al tipo di struttura sociale. Ci aiuta a capirne la comunicazione, ci svela le sue abilità cognitive e quindi il modo in cui legge tutto ciò che lo circonda, umani compresi.
Approfondire la conoscenza dell'etologia equina è un atto di responsabilità verso il cavallo e, se lo vorrai, questo atto ti cambierà la vita. Sì, perchè aprirsi alla conoscenza dell'altro ti porta nel suo mondo. Il tuo cavallo lo capirà perchè comunicherai meglio e sarai più attento a quello che per lui è importante. Finalmente avrà vicino qualcuno che sa "chi è il cavallo".

Io sono una divulgatrice scientifica, esperta in etologia equina e tecnico equestre. Ho fatto esperienza per tanti anni nella gestione di cavalli in branco, in una struttura tipo paddock paradise, e collaboro attualmente con Università in progetti di ricerca.
