STAR/CHILD: The Astrology of Family
STAR/CHILD: The Astrology of Family

STAR/CHILD is all about how astrology shapes us and all our closest relationships. On this weekly reading, get into the family dynamics we’re born into, how be bring those into the families we find and create for ourselves (whatever that looks like), and the relationship we have with our inner child — and how the contours of all of it get brought to light by the week's astrology.

It’s about unpacking how we were parented and how that affects every connection in our lives — not just with our kids but with friends, partners, and anyone who feels like family.

Each week, we’ll talk through the astrology of the upcoming week and what it means for us and the important relationships in our lives. From decoding a child’s chart to figure out what makes them feel safe and supported, to asking hard questions about how to break cycles and show up better for the people we love — this podcast is about using astrology to make sense of it all. Whether you’re a parent, thinking about your own parents, or just figuring out how to not ruin the people you care about, we're talking to you here.

Oh Gross!
Oh Gross!

Don’t let the “ick” factor hold you back—we get to the bottom of life’s toughest and grossest moments, so nothing is off-limits or unspeakable. So if you are tired of asking awkward questions on Social Media or spiraling down a misinformation Doctor Google rabbit hole, welcome to the Oh Gross! Community.

Ever wonder how many times the average person gets bitten by a spider? Or what to do about germs on a plane?  We pull back the curtain on life’s most unnerving mysteries by having real conversations with science to takeaways—that help you face the “ick” with clarity (and maybe a laugh). So don't worry about that fuzz on your fruit in the fridge or panic about what to put in your "Bug Out Bag" for emergencies. We do the research so you can skip the stress—and get the answers you didn’t know you needed. Each episode Kara, Jennie and Molly dive into a squeamish or scary subject, blending expert-driven interviews, practical tips, and plenty of personal stories and wit to help you handle whatever life (or your leftovers) throw your way. We explain the science, delve into the history, and debunk the misinformation so you can tackle life’s sticky realities with confidence. No topic is too taboo—and yes, we’ll even tell you how many times you’re likely being bitten by spiders in a year.

In each episode, journalist and crime expert Kara Kurcz investigates the questions you’ve always wanted to ask, scientist Jennie Wickham breaks down the methodology behind the answers, and pop culture guru Molly Lucas shares relatable anecdotes that make even the gross stuff easier to digest. Together, these three friends make sure listeners walk away informed, intrigued, and ready for whatever creepy-crawly scenario comes their way because knowledge is the best antidote to “gross.”

Tune in to Oh Gross—we'rer here to make life’s messy moments more manageable.

Selfish Parenting
Selfish Parenting

Say no to activities that drain you  Invest in your mental health and identity  Maintain adult relationships and interests  Spend money on yourself  Set boundaries that actually work

Every episode, we dive deep into the "selfish" behaviors that research shows actually make you a better parent. From working mothers to stay-at-home parents demanding respect, from therapy to solo vacations - we're covering it all with science, sass, and zero shame.

Life With Danni Duncan
Life With Danni Duncan

Life won’t wait - we get one shot - and you are in the driver's seat.

You can Do Hard Things.

I’m Danni Duncan…featured fitness and nutrition coach, author, speaker and mum of 4 amazing kiddies (including twins).

Online I’ve shared it all, my pregnancy journeys, miscarriages, why you SHOULDN’T be eating cereal for breakfast, how to make the perfect sourdough and helping you to see that YOU can do hard things.

The things I’ve said online have often got me into a bit of trouble, and its because I’m not afraid to call people out on their shit … I’m not afraid to discuss taboo topics and I don’t believe that any of us need to live an average life where we do what society is telling us is ‘normal’ … instead its our job to question “Why is that normal?” And is that what we want for our own life?

This podcast is going to be a space where I chat to experts (and share my own thoughts) on WHY we aren’t living our full potential.

Where you can get the facts that will help you to get your happiness, motivation and confidence back.

Taking the first steps can be hard, but I’m here to help you make it a little easier to face your fears and live your best life - every, single, day.

I will make you feel uncomfortable, I will make you think differently but you may just wanna hear it.

If you want to make this year the year that you do something for yourself, you’re in the right space.

AZIMUT Parlons orientation
AZIMUT Parlons orientation
Parents We've Met
Parents We've Met

Kia ora and welcome to Parents We've Met, where we wade into the magical, messy depths of parenthood to uncover the moments and learnings that keep us coming back for more.

We're your hosts, Jenny Hale and Dayna Galloway, and together we share candid and inspiring conversations with well-known New Zealand parents - and experts - who, just like us, are navigating the wild and wonderful terrain that is parenthood.

With Jenny 's 'Parent Coach' hat on, we delve into a wide range of topics, from neurodiversity, to co-parenting, tricky teen behaviours, sleep struggles, grief, loss, big emotions and SO much more.

While most of these chats are light-hearted, at times we also dip our toes into some big topics of conversation that are aimed at a parent audience – and not suitable for little ears!

ADHD Mums
ADHD Mums
Being a mum is hard enough. Being a mum with ADHD — or raising neurodivergent kids is a whole different level. ADHD Mums is the unfiltered, science-meets-reality podcast hosted by Jane McFadden, educational neuroscientist, advocate, and mother of three. This isn’t another polished parenting show with 'ten easy tips.' It’s real stories, confessions we’re not supposed to say out loud, and the research that explains why so many of us are running on empty. Every week you’ll hear: 🎙️ Confessions — raw, anonymous truths from mums navigating rage, burnout, and survival. 🧠 Expert insights — from neuroscientists, clinicians, and policy leaders on ADHD, autism, and mental health. 💬 Advocacy in action — exposing ADHD medication shortages, NDIS red tape, and the hidden costs mothers carry. With over 1 million downloads already tuning in from across the world, the podcast has already influenced ADHD reforms in Australia, been featured in national media, and pushed politicians to answer the questions mothers are asking. If you’ve ever screamed in the car, forgotten every form until the night before, or wondered if you’re the only one falling apart — this podcast is your proof that you’re not broken, you’re just telling the truth.

One Young Mind
One Young Mind
Our young people live in an increasingly digital world. While technology can improve our lives in many ways, we ask: do the benefits of social media for young people outweigh the harms? In this podcast, we explore why it is so hard for young people to put their phones down, and the mental health challenges rising alongside their online lives. Through lived-experience, expert insights, and honest conversations, we aim to understand what is happening for our tamariki online and what we can do to protect their precious mind during those formative, developmental years. This podcast is about listening, learning, and not shying away from the hard truths. Understanding what is really happening for young people online is the first step to keeping them safe. Hosted by Matilda Green, content creator, presenter and mother of three, and Dr Maneesh Deva, paediatrician and health innovator working on the front lines of our hospitals and ICUs, One Young Mind brings together a compelling mix of voices and perspectives to explore the challenges, pressures and realities young people face on social media. Positive Legacy Podcast for Christian Fathers
Positive Legacy Podcast for Christian Fathers
What if the tension, silence, and miscommunication in your home were actually invitations — not roadblocks? Welcome to The Positive Legacy Podcast, where faith meets fatherhood and Christian dads learn to build relationships rooted in genuine understanding, emotional strength, and unshakable trust. Hosted by Dan Hayden, a mindset coach, Army veteran, and founder of Positive Legacy Academy, this show helps fathers move beyond frustration and confusion into peace-filled connection — at home, at work, and in their walk with God. Every week, you’ll find practical wisdom, spiritual encouragement, and real-life tools that help you: • Turn daily parenting challenges into moments of discipleship. • Replace anger and silence with calm, confident communication. • Lead with empathy instead of control. • Build trust and mutual respect with your teen — even through distance. • Strengthen your marriage by becoming the peaceful center of your home. • Apply Positive Intelligence (PQ) principles through a Biblical lens — so you can stay grounded, curious, and compassionate under pressure. Whether you’re navigating teenage moods, communication breakdowns, or the constant pull between providing and being present, you’ll find hope and direction here. Each episode weaves together Scripture, mindset coaching, and real-world stories from dads who’ve chosen to parent from a place of grace rather than guilt. ⸻ ✝️ What Makes This Podcast Different Most fatherhood advice focuses on fixing behavior. We focus on transforming hearts — starting with your own. This isn’t about being a perfect dad. It’s about becoming a present one. Through Christ-centered coaching tools and emotional intelligence training, Dan equips you to parent with wisdom and patience — the kind that reflects the heart of the Father. With insights drawn from neuroscience, psychology, and Scripture, you’ll learn to quiet your “inner saboteurs,” manage frustration in faith-based ways, and bring peace back to your family rhythm. ⸻ 💬 What You Can Expect • Real Conversations: Honest, grace-filled talk about what Christian fatherhood looks like in the real world. • Faith + Mindset Tools: Learn how Biblical truth and Positive Intelligence combine to strengthen emotional resilience. • Stories of Transformation: Hear from fathers who’ve rebuilt relationships and rediscovered joy in parenting. • Weekly Challenges: Practical, bite-sized actions to apply each week’s message in your own home. • Encouragement for Every Season: From toddlers to teenagers, from weary to hopeful — you’ll find guidance that fits. ⸻ 📖 Why It Matters Your family doesn’t need a perfect dad — they need a peaceful one. They need a father who listens before reacting, who models empathy over authority, and who builds a legacy not through control, but through connection. This podcast helps you do just that — one conversation, one prayer, one moment of patience at a time. ⸻ 🧭 Subscribe If You’re Ready To: • Rebuild connection with your teen through empathy and trust. • Strengthen your marriage by leading from calm confidence. • Parent with peace instead of pressure. • Build a positive legacy rooted in faith, grace, and emotional wisdom. Because when fathers grow, families flourish — and faith multiplies. Cat & Nat are two moms/women trying to not live in the confines that society puts on them. As they debunk the myths, challenge the scripts and give women (and men) the freedom to say f*ck it.

Through BFF conversations that everyone is thinking about but no one is talking about on Tuesdays, guest interviews on Thursdays and non traditional “Sex Fridays”, Cat & Nat take this podcast to a whole new level of f*ck it, inspiring their listeners to find themselves, their true selves. Not the ones sold by motivational speakers but the self that tried daily, sometimes nailing it and sometimes failing it.

Die nehmen wir gerne an, aber wissen manchmal nicht weiter. Darum hilft reden: miteinander als Paar und mit anderen Eltern im grossen Eltern-Universum.
